Synopsis: It is 1947 at the estate of Livia T. O'Shea, the first self made female millionaire in the U.S. who is being interviewed by biographer, Claire Bennett, a long admirer of Livia who is an icon for women's independence. As Livia's rags to riches story unfolds, we learn of her strong Irish resilience, unique adventures and philosophy for over seven decades of life, together with the price paid for her success as revealed through the introduction of her daughter Valentina, an alcoholic actress, whose career has seen better days. As the interactions heat up among the women, their achievements and deficiencies are exposed and we are witness to their humanity.
