These books were made for the Dress For Success benefit auction happening on March 4. You can find more out about the event here and here.
The books are made up of my photographs I took over a number of years. Everything is printed cyanotype that I then toned. I really enjoy the amount of accident that is possible in the process. I promote these mishaps with lackadaisical intent. It keeps the photo process organic for me. Each book is 32 pages plus the cover and meant to be a set. The books take their inspiration and titles from the show “He Said, She Said”. The story of the books is simple; He says snow and She says Sky.
I will post all the pages to the main site in the future. I may even try to put them together into one of those Flash page turning formats but I don’t have mad skills in that area so we’ll see.
