Workhardened at New England Metal Fest

If you find yourself in New England this weekend, come visit me at New England Metal Fest at The Palladium in Worcester, MA. I will be there Friday-Sunday along with a lot of limited edition work- including a New England Metal Fest exclusive limited edition 5 color (including silver and gold) silk-screened poster (pictured above). I hand-screened them myself in an edition of 144 and they will be available for $40.

Another exciting development is the launch of my Workhardened merch line featuring five new t-shirt designs for ladies and gentlemen. More shirt designs and hoodies to come in the near future.

These books were made for the Dress For Success benefit auction happening on March 4. You can find more out about the event here and here.

The books are made up of my photographs I took over a number of years. Everything is printed cyanotype that I then toned. I really enjoy the amount of accident that is possible in the process. I promote these mishaps with lackadaisical intent. It keeps the photo process organic for me. Each book is 32 pages plus the cover and meant to be a set. The books take their inspiration and titles from the show “He Said, She Said”. The story of the books is simple; He says snow and She says Sky.

I will post all the pages to the main site in the future. I may even try to put them together into one of those Flash page turning formats but I don’t have mad skills in that area so we’ll see.

My show opens in two days and things are moving at an absurd pace. The work is looking better than I imagined. Come on out on Saturday. I will be there most of the day from 2-10 PM.
